1 Veterinarians Dr. Timothy Schmidt graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He has been the owner of For Pets’ Sake Veterinary Clinic, Inc. since 2001. Dr. Schmidt enjoys seeing patients as well as surgery. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, woodworking and spending time with his family. Dr. Selina Temple graduated from Michigan State University with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has also received her certification as a Veterinary Acupuncturist through the Chi-Institute in Florida. Dr. Temple sees all manner of exotic animals including reptiles, birds, small mammals as well as dogs and cats. When she is not at the clinic, she loves to garden and spend time with her family. Dr. Sara Thompson graduated with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine located in the West Indies. She is also certified through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association to perform Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSPT). When she is not helping animals at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her animals and outdoor activities such as biking and hiking. Practice Manager Our Practice Manager Lori Krause is available to help our clients and our entire team. Lori earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology and is a State Licensed Certified Veterinary Technician. Lori has worked very hard to create and maintain excellent client and technical service and a great work environment. Certified Veterinary Technicians Your pet deserves to have the best care available, that is why we staff Certified Veterinary Technicians. They are your pets “nurses” and perform a wide variety of things such as drawing blood, dental cleanings, to assisting the Doctors in surgery. Veterinary Assistants Our Veterinary Assistants are a great asset to our clinic. They offer their help to the Doctors by checking in appointments and assist them throughout the day. They are also helpful in taking care of hospitalized pets too. Client Services Representatives Our Client Service Representatives are available to help you in many ways. They not only do they answer the phone and make your appointments, but they greet you and make you feel comfortable and welcome when you are at the clinic.
